[COURTISANES] Marguerite UGALDE (1861-1940), mezzo-soprano s - Lot 83
[COURTISANES] Marguerite UGALDE (1861-1940), mezzo-soprano singer. Vintage silver print, cabinet card size, 16.5 x 11 cm. By CHALOT. "Her mother was a famous singer at the Opéra-Comique and a well-known gallant woman. Her daughter had only been singing for two years at the Opéra Bouffe, but there were already many admirers who were agitated for her. She was believed to be a virgin long after her hymen had ceased to be intact, but having been so licked and lasciviously caressed she was only a physical virgin in her teens. Marguerite is about twenty-one years old, she is of average height, robust and well made, with an open face, laughing blue eyes and a large voluptuous mouth. She is still very childish and her charming childishness has a very refreshing effect on the jaded senses. As far as preliminary games are concerned and for a long and sensual romp, when she gives and receives naughty little pats or indulges in lascivious teasing, this budding charmer is absolutely without rival in Paris on the white slave market."
