INA holds a documentary in which Planchon recalls his childhood in Lyon and his beginnings in a small provincial troupe, before moving to Villeurbanne. He talks about the theater he loves, his way of bringing great plays to the public, and artistic decentralization. Isabelle Sadoyan and actor Jean Bouise also evoke these early days in Lyon, recounting anecdotes and revealing some of Planchon's character traits.
