Alain CAZALIS (born 1949). Le Jeu de Cartes. Texts by Bernard Pailhès. Edition Alain Cazalis, 2000. In-4, 28 pages in sheets, red cloth slipcase, 11 color etchings, all signed and numbered by the artist. Limited edition of 40 numbered copies, copy no. 10. "This suite of eleven etchings and one xylograph was engraved and printed by Alain Cazalis on Lanaroyal 250 g paper. It is accompanied by twelve poems composed by Bernard Pailhès and typeset in Times Romain C.12. The red cloth slipcase is by Atelier du Cartonnage Tolbiac. The final edition is limited to 40 numbered copies in Arabic numerals, plus one B.N. copy and one H.C. copy. From each engraving, 10 numbered proofs in Roman numerals have been printed separately. The printing was completed in Paris on the first day of the year 2000."
