Christian JODIN (born in 1970). Little Lace, 2013. Photograp - Lot 435
Christian JODIN (born in 1970). Little Lace, 2013. Photograph, 32 x 21 cm, Certificate glued to the back, signed by the artist "leader of the artistic movement Zapping pictural, since 1996", dated 15 June 2013. Christian Jodin is a French artist born in 1970. He obtained a degree in plastic arts at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts in Paris in 1992 where he studied engraving in medals, bas-reliefs, sculpture, mosaics, painting and lithography. Afterwards he worked first as an engraver for the Paris currency, then in a photography laboratory. It is only since 1993 that he devotes himself entirely to his personal works. Through the fragmentation of the subject, Christian Jodin tries to reinvent a certain aesthetic with the repetition of the same motif, between contemporary and primitivism. He calls this technique "pictorial zapping". Christian Jodin's work has been shown in exhibitions both internationally and nationally, from Osaka to Monaco. https://www.artsper.com/fr/artistes-contemporains/france/6389/christian-jodin
