Theodore HANNON. Rimes of joy, second thousand, definitive edition, increased by twelve original pieces, in Brussels at Henry Kistemaeckers [1884]. Volume in-12 of 180 pages, pale green semi-marocco with corners, spine with nerves, palladium head, first cover cover plate preserved, untrimmed (old binding). Second edition, partly original. Illustrated with an original frontispiece, captioned Il avait lu Charlot s'amuse, by Félicien Rops. A nod from Rops to Paul Bonnetain's best-seller. This is the "second thousand" of this edition, the first one appeared, in a different form, in 1881. This edition is "increased by twelve original pieces". Stitches.
