[André LAMBERT] Chevalier RÉMY. Ten amiable subjects in ancient taste, invented, drawn, engraved in colour, printed and enriched with a learned preface by Le Chevalier Remy, is in Kythera and sold nowhere, 1917. In-4 in sheets, 30 x 24.5 cm, of 1 ff. of engraved title, 3 ff. of engraved text, 5 (out of 10) off-text engravings and 1 ff. of engraved print justification. Incomplete copy, no publisher's folder. Second edition of this collection published around 1920 by André Lambert, who was also the author and illustrator. In this second edition, the plate L'Amour Astronome is replaced by L'Hésitation aux Portes du Temple, and all the plates, of an identical format, are printed on strong paper. Edition : 110 copies including 10 copies reserved for the artist. The title, the plates and the justification are signed in Remigius Eques or Lambert pencil. Pia 373, Dutel 1411.
