Les Plaisirs de l'Ancien régime et de tous les âges. This work, which contains the masterpieces of various good authors, and decorated with 20 engravings in the English manner, is to follow the Arétin. New Edition. In London, printed by order of the Paillards 1795. In-18 of 104 pages (the last 3 pages are misnumbered), calfskin, triple gilt fillet around the boards, smooth spine decorated, inner gilt border, gilt edges (period binding). Illustrated with 20 engravings, one of which is a frontispiece. Most of the unsigned pieces are by J.-B. Rousseau, Grécourt or Piron. The frontispiece and the first 16 engravings illustrate L'Ode à Priape. The 17th engraving serves as a frontispiece to La Messaline en pleurs. The 18th engraving accompanies Le Chapitre général des Cordeliers, and the last one Le Débauché converti. Preceded by Parapilla, poem in five songs, translated from Italian. Followed by Recette pour rester sage and Le Bordel, poem, or whatever you want. In free and burlesque verse. By L. D. At London, 1801. ln-18 of 2ff. 84 pages.
