Seljuk mortar - Havan Cast brass, with engraved decoration and copper inlays This beautiful mortar of Khorassan is decorated with bosses in and drops alternating on the surface, and with engraved decoration of surface, and with engraved decoration of friezes of calligraphies alternated of arabesque medallions on the base and the upper part. It also has inlays of copper rosettes on the upper part of the neck upper part of the neck and on the diamond-shaped bosses. Below, surrounded by a frieze of plant motifs, is a complex inlaid rosette a complex rosette inlaid with copper.
