[André LAMBERT] Chevalier RÉMY. Ten amiable subjects in the ancient taste, invented, drawn engraved in color, printed and enriched with a learned preface by Le Chevalier Rémy, is found in Cythère and is not sold anywhere, 1917. In-4 in sheets, 30 x 24,5 cm, with 1 ff. of engraved title, 3 ff. of engraved text, 5 (out of 10) hors-texte engravings and 1 ff. of engraved print justification. Incomplete copy, no publisher's folder. Second edition of this collection published around 1920 by André Lambert, who was also the author and the illustrator. In this second edition, the plate L'Amour Astronome is replaced by Hésitation aux Portes du Temple, and all the plates, of an identical format, are printed on a strong paper. Edition : 110 copies of which 10 ex. reserved to the artist. The title, the plates and the justification are signed in pencil Remigius Eques or Lambert. Pia 373, Dutel 1411.
