JAPAN. Meiji period (1868-1912). Stoneware statuette painted in polychrome, Okame seated, a radiant smile, she holds her fan with her left hand, while slipping her right hand under her petticoat to satisfy a solitary pleasure, visible on the reverse. Height 14,5 cm. This lot is presented by Mrs Alice Jossaume, member of the SFEP, expert to the Court of Appeal of Paris, director of the firm Portier et associés.
