JAPAN. Early 20th century. Wooden statuette of Ebisu, sitting on a monk's head in the form of a phallus containing a stele in homage to the god protector of the eight virtues of fertility. Height 9 cm. This lot is presented by Mrs Alice Jossaume, member of the SFEP, expert to the Court of Appeal of Paris, director of the firm Portier et associés.
