This subject illustrated the cover of Michel Simon's sale, and was sold for a not inconsiderable price (Étude Christian Grandin, Drouot Rive gauche, salle 11, Objet de l'art érotique du xviiie à 1930, November 14, 1977, lot no. 65, sold for 4,000 francs).
