SITUATIONISM. An idea paralyzes 500 bureaucrats and 100,000 assholes for 25 minutes, May 1st 1977. Situationist poster, 39.4 x 30 cm. Poster produced by the French group Les Fossoyeurs du vieux monde, at the start of their collective interventions, probably printed in 1977. Trimmed at the bottom, no missing text, laminated on cardboard. In May 1977, the group hung a banner reading "Fête de l'aliénation!!!" during the May 1st march in Paris, apparently stunning those who saw it.
