The plates in this book were printed in the Daniel Jacomet workshops in Montrouge, also responsible for the illumination, which was carried out entirely by hand. The gold and silver used to enhance the engravings are genuine, and to preserve the book's freshness and sometimes naivety, the color application technique of the period has been respected and reconstituted by painter Jean-Marie Ledannois.
